Missed Call App Reviews

I bought it so if I missed a text (I use my phone as a pager) while Im sleeping it would continue to alert me every 2 minutes. It does not work. The text message stays on the screen, but no further audible alerts.

Currently this app is totally useless since it has to be left running in the foreground even in iphone 4 which supports multitasking. Nobody is going to start this app before putting the phone down every time. Waste of money.

Covers a big hole in iPhones functionality. Works great for me.

Not updated for V4, this could be a GREAT App if it was!

After reading all of the reviews I still bought this worthless app. If you are looking for a call, message, or calendar alert wait until its built into the phone, dont make these guys rich by buying/downloading this. Go to their web site and read their description. "Currently Apple, Inc does not allow background applications. In order to achieve the functionality listed above you must start the Missed Call application before putting your phone down. There is currently an issue with the 2.2.1 iPhone firmware that causes text message and calendar events to cause applications to sleep. This is a change in behavior from the 2.1 firmware which the application was released on. This causes the visual component of Missed Call not to show but sounds still occur. In order for the application to function normally change the iPhones Auto-Lock value to Never"

Main function doesnt work!!!

This is not a good app.. However MCA missed call alert works well.. best .99 cent i have spent..!

Really - I have to leave the application open and turm off my auto lock?? Wish I would have read that before purchasing. Who is going to turn on the application and turn off the auto lock each time they set their phone down........ Useless

Needed an App that would awaken me in the middle of the night after receiving a text message. Start the App and set the phone on the nightstand, pretty simple! Thanks for supplying an App that does what this phone should do by default.

I should have read the reviews. This app is utter crap and doesnt work regardless of whether the app is open or not. Dont waste your money.

terrible application. You have to open the applicaton every time you want to use it. TERRIBLE on your battery life. Will not work if you use AUTO LOCK. AUTO LOCK must be set to NEVER for it to work and I do mean MUST be set to NEVER. CRAPPY APPLICATION!

Apple should have not allowed this app since it does not work unless you run it in the foregrond with the lock screen diabled. $2 is to much for a app that should be a demo since it does not perfom correctly yet!!I wish I could get my money back.

Im a doctor who misses a lot of late night calls. This is must have. Not ideal, but works as promised

No built-in missed call feature on the iPhone? What is wrong with Mr. Jobs? Or maybe hes just so smart he figured he would force you to pick up your iPhone every hour to help you develop a habit. Smart marketing. That is what is wrong with America; everybody is so worried about outsmarting everybody that we forget about some very important things. I am going to make sure my next smart phone does not get smart with me. It will likely be Japanese and America will be out of a few hundred dollars.
